"Free rock at his best !#“A new line up of musicians; as Arto Lindsay, these are also based in Rio de Janeiro. Nilssen-Love has now been there 4 times within the last 1.5 years and obviously feels at home. One says that music is the universal language and Nilssen-Love has for sure met his “partners in crime” through the venue Audio Rebel and the organisers behind Quintavant. During the visits, Nilssen-Love, was fortunate to meet bass player Felipe Zenicola from the local band Chinese Cookie Poets. The two did their second concert together with Arthur Lazerda and Eduardo Manso and the whole set was put on tape and now onto LP (CD on PNL records). The music is improvised but with clear references to rock and noise music. There’s a pretty vivid and healthy scene for this kind of music in Rio at the moment these musicians are key figures. Also, Audio Rebel and Quintavant are obvious reasons why this music can happen.”
